Clemson players unavailable for Virginia Tech game - 247Sports

Clemson released an official list of unavailable players on Saturday approximately 90 minutes prior to Clemson's kickoff vs. Virginia Tech at 7:30 p.m. The list of players is below. It includes wide receiver Frank Ladson (hip), safety Lannden Zanders (undisclosed injury), and wide receiver Joseph Ngata (ab).

Swinney said on Wednesday that Ladson was day-to-day. Swinney said Zanders, who was injured vs. Notre Dame, is progressing well and is on pace to return for the postseason.

Ngata (ab) had surgery last week and "the goal," according to Swinney, is for Ngata to be near 100 percent for the postseason.

NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE VIRGINIA TECH GAME (SCHOLARSHIP PLAYERS):

— Ladson

— Ngata

— Zanders

— LB Sergio Allen

— OL Kaleb Boateng

— TE Sage Ennis

— OL John Williams (was unavailable for the Pitt game too)

— DT Tre Williams (out for the season with a shoulder injury)

— DE Justin Foster (Swinney remains hopeful that Foster can return this season but confirmed last week that Foster will return for a fifth season in 2021 regardless)
