Welcome to Week 11 of the college football season!
There are four games matching ranked in the CFB Playoff rankings this week. They include No. 8 Oklahoma at No. 13 Baylor, No. 19 Purdue at No. 4 Ohio State, No. 11 Texas A&M at No. 15 Ole Miss and No. 16 N.C. State at No. 12 Wake Forest.
In Week 10, I was 23-6 straight-up and 12-17 against-the-spread. That includes a mark of 5-2 straight-up and 2-5 ATS in Big Ten games.
For the year, I am now 221-78 straight-up and 148-139-4 against-the-spread. In Big Ten games, I am 65-17 straight-up and 39-35-2 ATS so far this year.
Here are the picks for Week 11:
THURSDAY’S GAME
* North Carolina at Pittsburgh (-6 ½), 7:30 p.m. (ESPN) – I picked this one here. I had Pittsburgh 34-31, so it seemed good when UNC forced overtime. But then Pitt scored a touchdown, it started pouring down rain, UNC did not score and for like the 88th week in a row, I hate midweek games.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
* Cincinnati (-23 ½) at South Florida, 6 p.m. (ESPN2) – Cincinnati is 9-0 and sitting fifth in the CFB Playoff rankings and has a chance to make that coveted final four. But the Bearcats must play better. They have struggled in recent wins over Navy, Tulane and Tulsa. USF is 2-7, although the Bulls led Houston at halftime last week before falling 54-42. Cincinnati 41-22
* Wyoming at Boise State (-14), 9 p.m. (Fox Sports 1) – Both teams are 5-4. Boise State 34-17
